Have you considered ALT-PhD? I spent the last 15 years in higher education and decided it was time for a change. ALT-PhD is for those who have a PhD and either (a) are leaving academia or (b) didn’t want teach in the first place.
There are some challenges in breaking into the non-academic sector. I’d love to share my experiences with you and describe how and why I did it.
